Carissimi amici,

Come dice una mia cugina romana, il 2023 è l’anno della fortuna (a Roma si dice da sempre 23 aiutame te). In effetti tutti noi speriamo che il 2023 sia un anno fortunato, la speranza di tutti (o quasi) è che la guerra abbia fine, che ognuno possa trovar una vita degna di diritti, igiene, istruzione, lavoro, che nessuno debba più morir per mare inseguendo una speranza di vita. Questi, però, sono pensieri che percorriamo più volte l’anno, non possono esser ridotti ad un augurio di inizio anno. 

Sono gli obiettivi dell’ONU e di tutte le organizzazioni a seguire, dovrebbero essere i propositi di ogni buon governo. Ciascuno di noi si sente bene se viene accolto, apprezzato, valorizzato e se ha il permesso di sbagliare.

Nell’augurar un felice anno nuovo, io di sollito cerco qualcosa di più leggero, perché in questi ultimi anni della leggerezza ho fatto il mio stile di vita. 

Una leggerezza che non va confusa con idiozia o pressapochismo, una leggerezza che non va intesa con un parliamo solo di cose belle e faccaimo finta che le brutte non esistono. Non per niente quando si ha un problema, il parlarne alleggerisce l’animo. Una leggerezza esplicitata nella voglia di dare il giusto peso alle cose, di guardare sempre col sorriso anche chi in te cerca perennemente l’errore. 

Io ho una grande fortuna, non ho mai perso il contatto con la bambina che sono stata, con la sua voglia di genuità, di risate sincere, la sua curiosità verso il mondo, la passione per le maschere, le feste, i viaggi, i giochi all’aria aperta e i giochi da tavoa con gli amici.

Purtroppo molti vedono i bambini come qualcosa che sta crescendo per diventare adulto, non persone, non capaci di intelligenza o leggerezza.

Spesso vengono considerati più sciocchi che leggeri.

Io, invece, considero i bambini estremamente intelligenti ma con poca conoscenza del nostro modo di affrontare la vita. 

Loro sono primordiali e in contatto con la vita primordiale, sanno crescere, imparare, osservare, carpire, tutte cose che noi adulti facciamo solo attraverso i filtri che abbiamo scelto di indossare durante la nostra vita. 

I bambini no, riconoscono l’essenziale della vita.

Il mio augurio di leggerezza per questo nuovo anno va a tutti quegli adulti che hanno perso il contatto con il bambino che sono stati, che il 2023  li aiuti a tornare a guardare il mondo facendo un po’ di pulizia dai pregiudizi che nella vita sono cresciuti nei loro animi nascondendo il loro Io-bambino. 

Auguro a tutti gli adulti di prendere consapevolezza del fatto che se i bambini sono felici da piccoli, costruiranno un mondo felice, speriamo in una felicità fatta anche di buoni principi e non solo di buoni soldi. 

Un augurio a tutti i bambini del mondo affinché possa ciascuno di loro avere un futuro dignitoso, degno e accogliente, senza guerre né violenza.

Dearest friends, As a Roman cousin said, 2023 is the year of luck. We all hope that 2023 will be a lucky year; the hope of everyone (or almost) is that the war will end, that everyone can find a life worthy of rights, hygiene, education, and work, and that no one has to die anymore in the sea pursuing a hope of life. These, however, are thoughts that we travel several times a year; we cannot reduce them to a light wish for the beginning of the year. These are the objectives of the UN and all the correlated organizations. They should be the intentions of every good government. We all feel good in a welcoming world, being appreciated and valued. In wishing a happy new year, I usually look for something lighter because, in recent years, lightness has made my lifestyle. A lightness that shouldn't be confused with idiocy or carelessness, a lightness that shouldn't be replaced with a let's talk about beautiful things and pretend that ugly things don't exist. When you have a problem, talking about it lightens your soul. The lightness to give the proper importance to things, and look at the word with a smile, even when it is not so lovely. I am fortunate; I have never lost touch with the little girl I was, with her desire for genuineness, sincere laughter, her curiosity about the world, her passion for masks, parties, travel, outdoor games and board games with friends. Unfortunately, many see children as something, not a person, that is growing to be adults, incapable of intelligence or lightness. They are often considered more silly than light. On the other hand, children are intelligent but with little knowledge of our way of coping with life. They are primordial and in contact with primordial life. They know how to grow, learn, observe, and understand all things that we adults do only through the filters we have chosen to wear during our lives. Not children; they recognize the essentials of life. My wish of lightness for 2023 is for adults who have lost contact with the child they have been with. May 2023 help them return to looking at the world by cleaning up the prejudices they have grown up in life in their souls by hiding their child-ego. I wish all adults to become aware that if children are happy as children, they will build a happy world; let's hope for happiness made up of human principles. Best wishes to all the children of the world so that each of them may have a dignified, worthy and welcoming future without wars or violence. Happy 2023 from SilviaC.
